About TABS
Teaching Athletes Basketball Systems
TABS is a structured basketball performance program designed to develop athletes through systems, decision making, applied skill execution, movement quality, and long term consistency.
Annual Program Enrollment
Paid as a single yearly payment for the 12 month program with access to up to six structured sessions per week within the program schedule.
Equivalent to approximately $250 per month over the program term. There are no per session fees.
Training can be arranged at the athlete’s home, at a basketball gym, or through a combination of both based on what works best for the athlete and family.
Systems
Athletes learn how to understand spacing, timing, movement, and decision making inside basketball structure.
Execution
The program focuses on applying skills in realistic game situations rather than isolated drills only.
Consistency
Training is structured around routine, stability, and long term development across the full program year.

My Story
My name is Desmond Taylor. I am the owner of Etheric Solutions, the creator of TABS, and the founder of the company.
I have played basketball in Canada and the United States since U13, including Team Alberta Basketball, elite club basketball with Genesis Basketball in Canada, AAU basketball, tournament teams in the United States, community basketball, and junior high and high school basketball for the schools I attended.
I also received scholarship offers from the highest level of university basketball in Canada. The highest level of university basketball in Canada is U SPORTS Men's Basketball, consisting of 48 university programs competing across four conferences: Canada West, Ontario University Athletics (OUA), Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), and Atlantic University Sport (AUS). Programs include institutions such as the University of New Brunswick, the University of Prince Edward Island, Saint Mary's University, Mount Allison University, the University of Windsor, Wilfrid Laurier University, Western University, Nipissing University, Trinity Western University, the University of Guelph, and St. Francis Xavier University.

Education
I studied a Bachelor in Political Science and Human Kinetics at Trinity Western University before enrolling at Mount Royal University for a degree in the Humanities with a concentration in History.

Passion
My passion for physiotherapy inspires me to do what needs to be done.
💼
Experience
My expertise sits at the intersection of athletics, education, sports science, and player development. Combining hands-on experience with formal and informal preparation gave me the tools to help athletes make better decisions on and off the court. My time across different fields, combined with hands-on application, academic training in education, and deep knowledge of sports science and player development, positions me to strengthen athletes' decision-making skills in competition and in life.
📊
Purpose
We transform athletes from reactive athletes into proactive athletes under pressure who execute with purpose in practice, games, and their daily lives outside of basketball.
Three Development Divisions
TABS is structured across Elementary, Junior High, and High School divisions so athletes can progress through clear, separated development stages.
Grades 1 to 6
Introduction to movement, coordination, body control, and foundational basketball concepts.
Grades 7 to 9
Development of basketball understanding, decision making, structured play, systems, and movement patterns.
Grades 10 to 12
Advanced system execution, reads, performance consistency, and preparation for competitive environments.
Program Structure
TABS operates as a 12 month annual enrollment program. Sessions are delivered within the program schedule and are not treated as one off training sessions.
Schedule
Sessions are delivered through a structured weekly program schedule, including weekdays and weekends where applicable.
Session Access
Enrollment includes access to up to six structured sessions per week within the official program schedule.
Session Length
Sessions run approximately 80 minutes, equal to 1 hour and 20 minutes.
The TABS Standard
The standard is to leverage each athlete’s skills to their highest level through structured development, disciplined execution, and long term consistency.
Structured Development
TABS is built on a consistent approach that prioritizes decision making, movement quality, and applied execution. Athletes are developed through a controlled environment that reinforces growth over time.
Performance Focus
Every session is aligned with improving how athletes perform in real situations. The focus is not on isolated drills, but on how skills translate under pressure and within structure.
Long Term Consistency
Progress is built through repetition, discipline, and time. The program is designed to create lasting development rather than short term results.
